Film techniques

Robert Zemicks likes the use of flash black and flash forwards in his films as shown in his well known films Forest Gump, Cast Away and Back to the Future. In Forest Gump its used when he his telling the story of his life. Also in Back to the Future it is set in the past and in Cast Away when it is set foward 4 years.
